A creative soul waging war on a logical mind. I have spent the majority of my professional career in software development and my personal time attempting to find a writing rhythm in hopes of fulfilling my true passion. And while I've had plenty of successes along the way...writing and producing video courses for learning programming languages, hosting a weekly video podcast on programming, and presenting talks to several large audiences at conferences...it wasn't until recently that I made the opportunity to pursue my dream as a screenwriter.

I was able to flip the script. I've managed to find a balance, allocate time, and establish a writing cadence. My current focus is on spec screenplays, with long term plans that include novel and short story writing as well. Oh, and I have a burning desire to do a low budget web series (or two).
