Stacy is a stand-up comic, screenwriter, author, story editor, corporate speaker. A member of the WGA and Alliance of Women Directors, she is most known as director and co-writer of the feature film JUPITER LANDING (dark comedy) and the award-winning short film THE WRITE STUFF. She was also story editor and co-producer on the award-winning documentary KEIKO: THE UNTOLD STORY OF THE STAR OF FREE WILLY.
As a stand-up comic, Stacy got her start at the Comedy Store in La Jolla, but has graced the stages of The Comedy Store in Hollywood, The Improv, and countless other clubs across the country. She's was also a finalist in the Southern California Comedy Competition, and a member of and sketch writer for the improv troupes The Fault Line Players and Off the Top Comedy. Today Stacy is a popular public speaker and a credentialed member of Toastmasters. In 2012 she was a finalist in the Toastmasters Humorous Speech Contest and a semi-finalist in the Toastmasters International Speech Contest, in which she competed for the title of World Champion of Public Speaking. She's also the author of several books, including the hilarious bestseller CONFESSIONS OF A BAND GEEK MOM and THE MEMOIR MIDWIFE: NINE STEPS TO SELF-PUBLISHING YOUR BOOK.
