Anthony Barone

I've explored many roles and traveled much of the world. Since leaving corporate America, I've devoted myself to storytelling, creating over two dozen works across stage and screen, including five full-length plays, a dozen screenplays, and a published historical novel. My writing spans comedy and drama, action-adventure and historical-biopic. Several screenplays have attained quarter or semi-finalist status at various competitions. My comedy "Whispers" was best production at the NY Theater Winter Festival in 2023.

Born and raised in New York City during tumultuous times, I earned a BA in English from Columbia University. As a member of the Dramatists Guild, I write to entertain, slipping in a few observations about real life beneath the surface of each story.
