About Khalil
I'm an Afro-latino, Brooklyn-born creative who uses science fiction to tell the stories of those that are muted. I went to school for theatrical and vocal performance, but have always had a proclivity for creation. I am currently developing two hour-long series, a short-form series, a short film, and a feature film.
I write with the purpose of creating lucid images that also allow the reader to use their imagination. I aim to develop characters that are relatable, memorable, and realistically unpredictable. I create to show the intricacies of human interactions and impressions upon everything around us.
I have experience working background on over a dozen major television productions, and as a featured actor on TV One's "For My Man." I’ve also acted in leading and supporting roles in staged performances.
I believe disparate experiences help amalgamate each interpretation into a cohesive vision.
