About Alison

A screenwriter from England, Alison studied at UCLA Extension and interned at Jerry Bruckheimer Films. Her thesis film "A Grave Mistake", (2012), is a Western filmed on location in Yucca Valley, CA. The film is about a cowboy on the run who encounters a strange Native American in the desert. The film premiered at the Albuquerque Film and Media Experience and also screened at the Palm Springs International Shortsfest. From 2011-2013 Alison produced several successful short films including Fara Pasarell's award winning drama "The Visit". She also co-wrote "The Trials of Zander Peterson" which won the Las Vegas Film Festival 'Golden Ace Award' for screenwriting. In early 2016 Alison completed a biopic feature about a silent film actress who helped discover and taught Charles Chaplin how to take the leap from stage to film, she also directed him the first time he wore "The Tramp" costume. In 2017 Alison produced the British action feature film "The Underdog", the film is about a dysfunctional Father who takes revenge on a violent crime syndicate after it lures his daughter into a world of drugs and vice. Currently, a British zombie film in a similar vein to "Shaun of the Dead" and "Doghouse" she is also co-writing sci-fi feature "Rogue Robot" a film about a teenage gamer who must battle an indestructible robot after it kidnaps his little sister the first draft of the script reached the Quarterfinals of the 2018 Orb Media China-Hollywood Screenwriting competition in conjunction with Screencraft and Stage 32.
