About C.

As a former career R.N. who took an aptitude test that indicated I should be writing or be a lawyer or statistician instead of being a specialty nurse, nurse was at the END of the list, I took the challenge, taught myself screenwriting, wrote my first TV drama script between laboring mothers and diaper changes in a rural hosital in Nor Cal. Then I worked my way through film school, then when a reality check said, "hey you're always gonna be a nurse, so be a lawyer instead," I won that @#$% Emmy screenwriting scholarship right before I applied to Law School. That win changed my life, and I took the "road less traveled", because like the bugs in BUGS LIFE, I was drawn to the 'LIGHTS OF HOLLYWOOD." "They are so pretty." But that change is still unfinished. I'm still on the road... determined to find success and a career as a staff writer

Although I LOVE comedy and have written TV comedy specs and one comedy feature, my draw is still features; mostly WW II stories. My best and latest is a WW II bio-pic told to me by the actual 98 year old unsung hero who has since passed away. I fulfilled my promise to him to campaign President Obama and all the pro-Vet senators for a look into his heroism to be considered for the CONGRESSIONAL MEDAL OF HONOR but he was awarded a different 'collective" WW II veteran' The CONGRESSIONAL GOLD MEDAL medal instead. All because the theater he was in and his C.O. would not recommed him and he was far too modest to "toot his own horn."

Somedays do happen. I hope someone will show interest and acquire his story and share the humble modesty he took to his grave a few years ago at age 100.
