Sherrill Schmidt is an award-winning screenwriter. Her stories are driven by intelligent and realistic characters that move the story along at a fast pace with the help of snappy dialogue. She'd like to do for the romantic comedy what Cirque du Soleil did for the circus. She writes for movies and TV.
She made her first foray into the production side of filmmaking in 2018 working as a Script Supervisor in two short films. She got her undergrad in Engineering at Michigan State University then switched gears to screenwriting when she moved to Chicago and began training at the University of Chicago’s Writer’s Studio.
