I am an independent filmmaker and have a Computer/IT background.
My recent works have been geared towards highlighting social anomalies that have been perpetuated through centuries of biases and injustice.

Till now I have directed three short films

1. The Last Question which deals with the societal construct of marriage and relationship
2.Urmi's Cat deals with the emotional turmoil faced by a girl who has been abused by her own father.
3. Her Words which deals with today's shifting disparities - the sharp divide in opportunities, technology adaption portrayed through the eyes of the protagonist.
I have also scored the background music for my films and for a documentary - MrityuBhoj (National award winner) - which deals with the social malpractices in death ceremonies that exists in India. Recently have also scored the background score for the Discovery series - On the Brink which aired this September.
All the shorts films have been selected in various International film festivals and all of them have won awards in various categories.
