Bry Troyer spent his childhood on a farm in Kansas where, at age 7, he cast his horse and his 4H pig in his first film, a musical titled, I Sing About Pigs. He’s since moved on to films for humans, including co-writing and producing the recent feature, They Reach, consulting and line producing on other features, script consulting on a flurry of projects while waiting for Covid to end, and writing and producing a bunch of shorts. (He hopes some of those will never emerge from the underbelly of the Internet).
After snagging a bachelor’s degree and attending law school at George Washington Univ, he spent time in film school at the University of Washington. He has written and produced commercial content for clients including Coca-Cola and University of Washington, and he teaches production management at Seattle Film Institute. In addition to his work in video production, he has over a decade of professional writing and radio journalism experience as an editor, news director, and freelance journalist on topics from dairy cows to drag queens. He lives in Washington with Ron (husband), Bilbo (rat terrier), and four house plants.
Unique traits: Can ride a horse, drive a tractor, and do a killer Rumba in heels.

Set in 1979, a 13-year-old girl accidently unleashes a demon from a vintage reel-to-reel player; she recruits her two best friends to conquer the beast before it devours more souls in the small town of Clarkston. |[]|[]|[]|
Synopsis:
Jessica Daniels is not like other girls her age. She's a science nut who's determined to win Grand Prize at the science fair with her powerhouse potato light. Her dad wonders why she’s infatuated with experimenting on discarded electronic gadgets, instead of sewing or dolls. One day she finds an old reel-to-reel player. As she pries at it to unleash its electronic secrets, she cuts herself. Her blood releases the deadly Sangui Demon, who slaughters anyone in its path in its pursuit to possess the ultimate vessel – the body of the person who bled on its portal: Jessica. She must defeat the demon, but how? She recruits her two best friends and her Dad, and musters her science-fair winning skills, to battle the beast before it gathers more souls. And her badass potato light? Turns out, light from potato energy deters demons. Who knew?
