Darius McGhee

D.McGhee aka Rich Bando is a singer/rapper born in Chicot county arkansas May 1, 1987 raised in Greenville,Ms until 1995 when my grand parents got a divorce me and my grandmother moved to eudora Arkansas to move in with my great grandma. Cause my granny just had enough of my grand fathers abuse. Later in 1998 my granny called my mom in memphis and told her she had to come and get me cause i was to bad. I was always into things. Setting field fires,fighting busting people windows out just bad.

My artistic influences and where i draw my inspiration for music?

I my inspiration for music and influences came from the Group called Roman they had a banger single called I belong to you and of course R.Kelly himself had the single called I believe i can fly and the whole born into the 90's project and Tupac Shukar brendy got a baby and dear mama  

I pretty much taught myself to sing til i ran into Mac Cream from the King gates in 2007

November of 2017 i release my latest and 3rd mixtape on spinrilla called ALL OR NOTHING under the name D.McGhee

I gave my mixtape that title because i said if i dont do nothing else amma give my music all or nothing at all.

Since then i have had the opportunity to link myself and label up with our current situation with UREG/DEFJAM MEMPHIS RECORD LABEL.

So lately i've been in the studio working on new singles and my new mixtape Cooking In The Kitchen under a the new name Rich Bando with producers like Hotrod on da track and Westside beats also starring in The up&coming Movie #CROOKED #GAMES Coming to THEATRE







Get That Bag will be a 2019 American drama independent film written and directed by Darius McGhee and produced by Joseph T Elliott and Darius McGhee. It will be released in the up&coming year 2019. Darius McGhee stars as RICH BANDO a Memphis hustler and business owner who faces his aspiration to become successful in life. This film will show how he will team up a neighbor gang called block burners and show them how to turn small drug money to big investments but the gang leader NO TALK doesnt like the idea of going legit. So No Talk hires his 2 cousins to come to town and orders a hit on Rich Bando.
