I was born and raised in Massachusetts. I'm a nationally-recognized science and technology educator at a private school in New York City and I have authored several books and articles on innovative teaching and learning. I have a deep affinity for Southern California, especially In N Out Burger. My dream is to be drive onto the Paramount Studios lot as the writer of a hit television series.
To date, I have self-published a series of books under the umbrella title: My Life With Lukas (On Topanga Canyon Boulevard) with four separate titles: The Photos, Junior Year, Best Kid Ever and Tailspin. From the back cover: When Noah Whitmore's teenage cousin Lukas turned up on his doorstep one day, it was a life-defining moment for both of them.
The books are the basis for my television show/pitch, Best Kid Ever. I may never win a Pulitzer and I may never win an Emmy, but I love my characters and I love writing for them.
