However, I think you are referring to some people believing that there appears to be more ice mass around Antartica. However, this is only temporary ice that only comes during the winter time and is very thin, so it is not the same as the normal antarctic mass

Ethan, I have a drama script about climate change. I think people are a little burned out on climate documentaries. Any interest in discussing, and possibly collaborating?
Keep at it Ethan, one day you will be a fine documentary writer! Never give up!

Hey Ethan, thanks for reaching out. Great climate strike video. And thanks for the gorgeous shots of VT with your drone. Best, Candice
Here is a video about the Climate Strike. This was filmed at the 2019 climate strike in Burlington Vermont. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UFl2CLgC0aY
Nice shots, did you use drones as well?
Matt Sachdeva yes, my friend Austin came with his drone. You can see some of his videos here:https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCCfmEuQ94XS3urU_eLQsGkw

For some reason, I did not listen to the whole song before choosing it and editing the video too it. At the end of the song, there is a vocal track that I find distracting. I tried removing it via the stereo voice extractor in Audition but it didn't work. Is there another method I could try to remove the vocal track?
It's really difficult to completely remove vocals from a mixed track. It's a bit like removing egg from a cake - It's all mixed in and difficult to separate.

There is a tricky route where you separate the left and right channels, phase invert one of them, pan them both dead centre and then remove the bass on one if the channels using a phase coherent EQ. That will often remove any mid information except bass frequencies, but if the vocal had any reverb applied to the side channels then that remains. The rest of the song never quite sounds right either.
To be honest, if the track where the vocals are is similar to earlier in the song, you'd be better of cutting and pasting some of the earlier music to replace the section with vocals.
Alternatively, check online to see if there is a karaoke version available.
Good luck with it!

Expand commentIzotope RX 7 Advanced is the definitive standard for audio post production (https://www.izotope.com/en/products/repair-and-edit/rx.html). it has a boatload of features for audio clean-up from noise hiss and rumble to mouth clicks and pops, and spectral denoise. One of its hidden gems is a feature called Music Rebalance. This is a great command for redistributing the levels of the drums to the bass to the vocals to the rest of the music. But in SOME cases, depending on the complexity of the music, it can completely remove the vocals from a musical performance. Check out the examples... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kxf9yy_lZg8 .

Now, if you dont already have RX 7, note that it's not cheap. but for everything that it does, it's well worth the money.
The iZotope RX7 is the best way to go.

I'm a high school student and during the summer I am on trail crew for Acadia National Park so I don't have a lot of time but I try to do it whenever I can. I mainly specialize in post-production as I can not afford a camera yet, but I am saving up for the Black Magic Pocket Cinema Camera 4k but my dream camera (along with everyone else I know) is the Red Weapon 8K. I edit on my Razerblade 15 in Premiere Pro. I have tried many many times to learn how to color correct videos until I found out that I am color blind so I am always on here trying to find people who are willing to color correct my latest videos (let me know if you can). Have a nice day people on the internet.
Ethan, good for you to start your professional networking so early! We’re thrilled to have you in the Stage 32 community...and we look forward to the day you can get your dream RED camera!
Welcome, Ethan! Stage32 is a great place to network and learn, and as Amanda Toney stated, it's thrilling to see someone take the reins in their career so early!
