Richard Perry

After graduating and travelling Richard attended The London Film School where he met his now long serving DOP Robin Vidgeon B.S.C. He graduated and then began shooting his own promos and commercials whilst working with BBC Sport directing ident’s and Short Films. He continued to write his own material and after making FOLLOWING FOOTSTEPS with David Ajala he went to LA and worked as a script formatter for various independent producers.

Upon returning to London, Richard began working with Peter Macdonald shooting second unit for Marvel and Warner Brothers. Peter is now Richard’s co-producer on his independent projects and Peter’s vast experience is truly valuable. During his time with Marvel, Richard was able to continue writing and since leaving has directed four feature films (SIX DAYS OF SISTINE, THERAPY, INJUSTICE, INTERVENTION), multiple Music Videos in which he was nominated for BEST MUSIC VIDEO at the BCMA Awards 2017 and a TV Show called ON ORDER AND AWAY which is currently with Amazon Prime.

His latest film SIX DAYS OF SISTINE stars Jamie Campbell Bower, Elarica Johnson and Amanda Abbington. It begins it’s worldwide festival run in 2019.

Currently with a slate of 16 feature film spec scripts and two other TV Shows he continues to write in between projects. During this vast experience Richard; still a young emerging filmmaker was able to work with great actors, streamline his technical craft and now his work is the coming together of all that he values about story telling and film making.
