Lidya C. Moore

A Georgia native, Lidy'a C. Moore, is an Active Duty Sailor of the United States Navy and the Writer, Director and Executive Producer. Born with a rare skin condition, Lid'ya was visibly "different" and faced many challenges growing up which later led her to become a devoted advocate of the Vitiligo community. In March of 2018, Lid'ya embarked on a journey of self-love and acceptance where instead of hiding her beauty marks from the world, she began to fully embrace her uniqueness. That journey is shown through her newest project, which educates and raises awareness on Vitiligo and its prevalence as well as displays the many distresses it causes such as bullying, abuse, domestic violence, discrimination, etc. Lid’ya dreams big and works extremely hard to turn her dreams into reality.
