Chad Wellinger's rom-com feature, “Bad Romance,” recently rose to the occasion and advanced to the Finalist Round of the 2020 ScreenCraft Comedy Contest. Originally from Columbus, Ohio, Chad is a published author of short fiction and earned an MFA in Feature Film Screenwriting from Loyola Marymount University, Los Angeles and a Bachelor’s in Journalism and Creative Writing from Miami University in Oxford, OH.

At present, he is working on a psychodrama in the vein of Black Swan meets Personal Shopper, but is keen on connecting with fellow creatives, the prospect of finding a writing partner for future projects, and joining a solid writing group.
