Orlando native here (3rd grade makes me a native, right?). I've been in love with film since I was young and knew I wanted to make movies since I was five years old.
I come from an eclectic background. While pursuing my undergrad degree (Bachelor of Fine Arts in Film Production at the University of Central Florida) I worked at a hospital where I watched heart monitors (the little squiggly line you see on the screen). I got stuck there for years and did some film work on the side, though I didn't have much by way of connections after graduation. I was unfortunately unable to intern anywhere while in school because I was supporting my father and I.
Well fast-forward to 2017 where I'm still working at the hospital, but I'm so over it at this point, ha ha. I decide to quit my job and luckily landed a full-time gig as a PA at a local ad agency.
I also took this opportunity to go back to school and started my Master of Fine Arts in Film Production at UCF in 2018. This program is fantastic and requires those in the program to produce a feature length film as a thesis project. It's exciting, but scary all at the same time!
Ultimately I want to be a Director, but along the way I've carved out a knack for Sound (both on set and post), Editing, as well as Color Grading.
