About Pia

I am a Producer with a creative vision. I contain the practical ability to guide and manage a project, but also boast the flair to conceptualize my own ideas, to write, and to direct. Previous experience in many diverse departments has given me an in-depth knowledge of the production process and the vocation of key roles within the process. Practice has provided me with the skill to identify potentially suitable projects, and to develop them to their full potential.
I have worked in a wide variety of media environments, including: narrative Film - long and short form, (HD & Film), Documentary programming, TV broadcasting, Commercials, Corporate content & promotion, Web-based projects, Music videos, Events, Print media photo shoots and Theatre production. My objective is to develop projects that foster a good story and has world-wide distribution potential.
I believe in building a strong South African film industry from the ground-up, and have been lecturing part-time for 6 years. I have lectured 10 different subjects within the discipline.
