About the Artist
Paul Michael Bierker is a designer, goldsmith and technologist. Though trained in a traditional Art-Design school setting, Paul was always fascinated with advances in technology and materials sciences. Computer aided design was his destiny. At first, Paul's style was still elusive. His pieces where developed around ideas, statements and from input from clients purchasing commissioned works.
Paul attended the SUNY College at BUFFALO and earned a BFA in Jewelry Design and Manufacturing. Designations from The Gemological Institute of America include Diamonds Graduate, with certificates in Gem Identification, diamond grading and colored stone grading.
Paul's work and commentary has been featured in Vogue, Fortune, People Magazine, InStyle, AJM, Professional Jeweler, Modern Jeweler, National Jeweler Magazine in the U.S. as well as numerous international publications and every major media outlet in Pittsburgh
