About Dan

A self made Canadian-Swiss Filmmaker, Screenwriter, Producer and Actor. CEO/ Founder of CW1 Films ()Now based in Brussels, a city full of surprises.

After acting professionally in France and the US, Dan produced, directed a host of shorts films and hosted two documentary series pilots in English, both shot in France. A humanitarian short film he shot in Haiti to help fund a street children association became the inspiration for his feature film "Bloodtype", an original thriller on organ trafficking that found funding ($4M) last year through the Belgian tax shelter system. Covid postponed the shoot.

Dan (co)wrote 6 diverse feature films, from personal inner journeys to fighting your way across the land of the un-dead.Two of them are currently being financed through a mix of European subsidies and US equity.

The original multi cultural stories are a balance of "message" and "entertainment", address the importance of diversity in cast and very likely to find an international audience.

Fluent in French. Dan S

Unique traits: Born with the gift of surrounding himself with gifted people.
