Amrita Tezla

While working as a decorative painter in Greece, I collected folk tales, many of which, to my amazement, were quite recent happenings. Once a particular story flashed in my mind as a film. and that was it - a week or so later the first draft of 'The Elemental' was born. That was in spring 2012, and since then the screenplay has been reworked and improved. These days I'm working on a book version. It is based on an amazing true story that reads like fantasy - but then the world is far stranger than we are led to believe!

That research had also inspired me to write fantasy novels,. The result is a trilogy - The Folk of the Twill, Between Two Worlds and Flowering Fern.

A multi-skilled creative, I'm also a songwriter and have published a couple of little lyrics books.
