About Tequoia

I am a screenwriter and filmmaker based in Atlanta, GA with over 25 years of video production education and experience. I am represented by Citizen Skull Literary Management and currently seeking an agent. I have worked in reality TV, theatre and film. My passion is creating stories with purpose. I am currently working on several different projects: TV, film, and documentaries. My genre of specialty is sci-fi but I also love horror and supernatural thrillers.

I am currently shopping my latest project, The Hard Pass, to networks and production companies.
It is a sci-fi hour-long TV series with diverse characters, a strong female lead and engaging storyline with the universal themes of immigration, government corruption and xenophobia.

I am also in pre-production and seeking funding for my fictional short film, Gehenna. It is about a teenaged girl caught in the world of sex trafficking and the psychological trauma that it causes. I am working in partnership with a local nonprofit to help bring awareness to the plight of children forced into the life of child sex exploitation.

I am interested in collaborating on projects that promote diversity, strong female leads and have secured funding.
