About Ryne

I am a recent graduate of DePaul University from the College of Computing and Digital Media. Under my Bachelor of Science degree, my educational experiences revolved around all stages of production and different types of filmmaking. From animation to live action, I have had the opportunity to learn a multitude of skills and professional insights.

Outside of the classroom, I have participated in several student-produced short films and even a major studio feature (I was a PA on 2018's "Rampage"). My on-set experiences for student-produced shorts extend to roles ranging from 1st Assistant Director to Producer. Regardless of genre or scale, each production was as challenging as it was rewarding. Most importantly, these experiences taught me the value of collaboration and responsibility. Cinema is a medium of "We" rather than "Me". We must depend on one another in order to be successful.

Beyond my interest in filmmaking, I served as a Campus Tour Guide at DePaul, a position that developed my customer service skills significantly (and my ability to walk backwards). I also held the position of Crew Member for DePaul's Lincoln Park Student Center. As a Crew Member, my co-workers and I were tasked with setting up events for various organizations as well as other service related roles. Both positions required me to co-operate with fellow DePaul colleagues in order to ensure the best experiences possible for guests and students.

With my time at DePaul now at an end, I am looking to take the skills that I have acquired and apply them to be a proactive member in the film industry. Whatever the role may be, I will approach each task with tenacity, creativity, and responsibility.
