Hi Fellow Filmmakers,

I’m Tokyo based Photographer/filmmaker (b.1974).

My Specialization and the things I can do for field work:

PHOTOGRAPHY:
a. Portrait (set-up or environmental portrait)
b. travel
c. feature
d. Photo story/documentary
e. High Fashion photography and editorial work (magazine)
f. fine art photography using traditional printing (hand process and darkroom printing using fiber base paper)

FILM Production / VIDEO
a. I can operate 35mm. Arriflex film camera, HD Camera, 5D Mark III (cinematography)
b. I can direct and set-up lights for film using full production lights
(eg. HMI lights, dolly, steady cam and other crane equiptments)
c. Post production / Editing / audiomixing (Using Final Cut Pro 7 and FCP X)
d. basic sound recording ( interview using boom mic, lapel mic, record ambient sound, folley etc.)

They call me Bahag or Bahaghari. My photographs have been published in local and international publications like Marieclaire, Entrepreneur, Preview, Cosmopolitan and Menshealth. Despite photographing the glossy world of high fashion, My heart is more inclined to produce socially relevant work in the tradition of documentary photography and photojournalism.
I have been commissioned by core civic institutions like the United Nations and the Drik Picture Library in Dhaka, Bangladesh. I represented internationally by M4 Collective and Bahaghari World Photography. Despite appreciating my participation in prestigious workshops and international photofestivals like the World Press Photo WPP Training in Amsterdam, the Masterclass WorkshopAsia in Bangkok, and the 1st Angkor Photo Festival in Cambodia, I still values projects contributing to my homeland.
