Jonathan Prosper

Born and raised in Panama, Republic of Panama.
Since I was a kid, I remember to write for fun, to document situations that happened in my family. One day, my brother read my stories and asked me "Do you have more?" and since then I noticed I was very observative and liked to create stories based on true events or not.
Since 1992, I started acting in theater, more for children audience. Little by little trying to advance to the next level until I was forgot by many producers that passed on me several times.

So, in year 2000, me and my wife decided to create "Producciones Tu & Yo" (Translated You & I Productions) because she was the only one whose still believes in me as a writer/creator. We produced 3 successful children's plays. In 2003 I got the opportunity to write my 1st Professional Play, comedy. I reconnected with myself and since then I have written over 30 plays, 1 screenplay for a Movie and some TV Writing as well.

In 2006 I moved to Florida, USA. And it was the hardest decision I made because I had to put my writer dreams on a side to work and take care of my wife and kid.
