Justin Pierce

Originally from Columbus, Indiana, Justin is a playwright now living and working in Chicago, Illinois. In May of 2015 he graduated from Ball State University where he was both the Resident Playwright of The Busted Space Theatre Company and a full time Theatrical Studies student. A number of Justin’s plays have received workshops, readings, and staged readings from Ball State's Department of Theatre and Dance, The Harlequin Theatre Company, Busted Space Theatre Company, and Columbus' very own "Hello, My Name Is..." Theatre Company of which he is a founding member. Justin's full-length plays include West End Blues, Speed Date, From Here On, and Alaska.

Honors include "Outstanding Excellence in Playwriting" from Ball State University. Justin has been a finalist for both the Playwrights' Center Core Apprenticeship, and Finding Words in England.

He holds a B.S. in Theatrical Studies (Playwriting) from Ball State University.
