About Neil

Neil Biondich is a writer/creative director, based in Los Angeles.

Neil discovered role playing games at an early age, which unleashed his obsession with world building. What began as childish adventures matured into intense, character-driven soap operas. He eventually organized his stories into episodic seasons and “show ran” them on Sunday nights for more than three hundred episodes to a live geek audience.

Another early passion was watching Shaw Brothers classics on “Black Belt Theater”. Idolizing Bruce Lee, Gordon Liu and Jackie Chan, Neil began a life-long practice of martial arts, traveling regularly to Japan to study under Grandmaster Shoto Tanemura. He has been an instructor for more than 25 years, attaining 5th degree black belts in Jujutsu and Ninpo Taijutsu.

1994-2004, Neil was Creative Director at Sik Puppy Studios, a 3D animation and video game company. The first project was “Basic Football”, starring Burt Reynolds. Sik Puppy produced some of the earliest examples of fully-animated 3D people (whole football teams) which garnered national press. Neil oversaw projects including video production, 3D animation, video game design, toy design and holographic presentations.

In 2004, Neil founded the technology company, Red Anvil. Red Anvil quickly became a marketplace leader, receiving Milwaukee’s top “Future Fifty” award multiple years. Red Anvil forged its own Cloud Computing platform and lit its own regional fiber optic network. As CEO and Chairman, Neil oversaw the growth strategy of the business, managed investor relations and eventually negotiated its acquisition to Cosentry/Tier Point in 2014.

Neil and his family moved to Los Angeles to focus on film, tv, and digital media. He is now partner at Offworld Entertainment.
