I read that if you're an aspiring spec screenwriter who isn't fully committed to every aspect of the screenwriting process from brainstorming ideas to business meetings, then aspiring is all you'll ever be. With that said, after saving up nearly a year's worth of expenses, I left my job as a vocational rehab specialist and moved in to my father's attic with the goal of one day replacing "aspiring" with "working".
I joined Stage32 to network, obtain feedback and notes on projects I'm working on, and for any advice anyone thinks may be helpful during this journey. It's all greatly appreciated. I am more than happy to do the same for anyone interested in advice from a complete stranger with debatably no qualifications, aside from a passionate love for cinema and an inclination to storytell.
I look forward to meeting, speaking and hopefully even working with as many if you as possible.
Best of luck!
