Samantha Grant Markle

As a young child growing up in Southern California my father worked at ABC television as a Director of Photography and lighting director for 40 years. I spent a lot of time sitting on sets, watching and learning and decided at one point that I wanted to be behind the camera rather than in front of it. In college I always enjoyed writing and did very well at it. I ended up getting my master's degree in counseling, but felt very strongly that writers contribute greatly to individual and social behavior, so I decided to combine my experience and education with my writing. I hope to write projects that I can be proud of and that are socially useful and beneficial.
