Lauren Simpson

Lauren Simpson is a producer, founder and current CEO of Iris Arc Pictures – which launched at AFM (American Film Market) in 2018. Since then, Lauren has gone on to produce content for clients at both a local and international level. Lauren is currently packaging and in development for several high-concept feature film and television projects, traversing the fantasy, thriller and horror genres.

Prior to launching Iris Arc Pictures, Lauren produced a range of award-winning short films, an award winning and nationally distributed feature length documentary, commercials and creative. She managed sales and advertising for FilmInk Movie Magazine and managed events and marketing for Event Cinemas George St – which saw her host international film festivals, premieres and red-carpet events for some of the industry’s most notable talents.

A member of both Screen Producers Association Australia (SPAA) and Women in Film & TV (WIFT), Lauren is a proud advocate for gender equality and diversity in the film industry and is constantly looking for new pathways for mid-career females to progress their own careers. She holds a Bachelor of Film & TV from Swinburne, studied at California State University in Long Beach and completed a Masters of Business Administration from the Australian Institute of Business.
