About Corey

Grew up a performing and martial arts brat in Seattle. A BA in English/Drama from the University of Washington led to waitressing, journalism, home educating my two kids into college, writing video game narratives, a private investigator’s certification, classical fencing, and other life stuff.

In the last five years, I've developed two one-hour drama series with writing partners, completed the UCLA TFT Writing for TV graduate professional program, and wrote several award-winning pilots. I prefer a collaborative writing environment and believe that, while it is important to get along well with others in the room, it is also essential to work through differences with generosity and grace.
