As a screenwriter and filmmaker, Michael’s knack for unique and authentic storytelling has achieved broad appeal among “underserved audiences”; those tired of today’s woke “Hollywood” fare. From middle America to India, Australia to Germany and numerous other places around the globe, film lovers outside of the ideological-focused US coasts value genuine stories and believable characters over forced compliance with racial, gender and sexual orientation quotas. While this may be viewed as sacrilege among industry elites, Michael simply points to the consistent trend of mind-blowing financial losses sustained by investors and studios ignoring the quiet majority worldwide who have very little interest in movie fare that puts identity and ideological quotas above authentic characters and story quality.

For reasons stated above and despite over 350 screenwriting and filmmaking awards since 2019, Michael has chosen to take an extended break from promoting his scripts until--hopefully someday--financiers, production companies, studios and executives will see the light and decide to produce movies that appeal to the majority; not the brainwashed woke minority.
