Mare Lennon

Published Writer/Actor/Musician, Mare’s creative road has taken her everywhere from performing at the Centre Theatre Group’s “Best of All Possible Worlds” 30th Anniversary of the Ahmanson Theatre directed by Gordon Hunt to Brenda Carlin’s Parkview Theatre Company’s “View From the Park.” Mare has also taken to the stage and road as an award winning singer songwriter. Her debut CD “Chasing Sacred” landed a “Top Ten DIY Pick” by Performing Songwriter Magazine. She placed in the Wildflower, Wintertide, Park City songwriting contests, and has worked behind the scenes in television on CBS’s “Amazing Race” as a logger. She’s listened to everything from bar fights between idiots to Thelonious Monk and it all informs her writing with humor and truth. Also, once her guitar was played by a Chinese MP.... but that’s another story.....
