Alison joined Helen O’Grady Drama Academy in Perth, Australia in 1986. Alison assisted Helen O’Grady with franchisee training and was well respected for her presentation skills which were aimed at enriching the teaching skills of speech & drama teachers.

In April 1994 Alison moved to Bristol & took on the title of Executive Principal (U.K.) which involves training and supervision of all franchisees and their teaching staff throughout the country. To date, she has travelled to Spain, Malta, America, New Zealand and Dubai specifically to train other drama teachers.
She has completed the Associate Diploma, A.T.C.L. in Speech and Drama as well as the Licentiate Diploma L.T.C.L. through Trinity College, London. Her pass mark for the Art of Teaching and Practical Performance examination was the highest in Australia at 95%.

Performing has played a major part in Alison’s other interests; she has acted professionally in the theatre, worked as comedy writer for radio stations, sung in a musical comedy group and appeared in numerous radio and television commercials.
