Born in Wyoming, Michigan, David Quang Pham is the science dramaturg and the science author of three musicals. As a member of ΣΠΣ, ASCAP, and the Dramatists Guild, he attained an astrophysics degree and a minor in theatre at Michigan State University. Since college, David has been working on a particle physics opera. TOUR revolves around subatomic educators who collide and compete in the academic Accelerator. As the second apprentice of Working Title Playwrights in Atlanta, he developed an astrophysics epic. ELLIPSES is the family musical about the Galaxy family and their quest to undo the Big Bang, after Gravity (the family dog) sets it off. In the summer of 2021, he cowrote the book and music of PARALLEL UNIVERSITY for the Across a Crowded Room program of the New York Public Library for the Performing Arts. He traverses science communication through the human condition.
