Quinton Knudsen

Filmmaker in Portland, Oregon. I am self taught in most aspects of filmmaking but have years of hands-on experience, all of my formal training being in film studies. I've directed 3 short projects only one of which I have been able to complete and publish. I have directed a full cast and crew, my largest consisting of 7 cast members and 7 crew members including a makeup artist.

I've had a passion for creating movies since I was a child and first discovered my home movie camera. I thought it was so cool that you could create something at home to put on the TV for everyone's entertainment later. I made a lot of fun memories and entertaining "shows" that way. I made fake dramas, a fake talk show with my sibling, a British cooking show satire, and documented just about every family adventure or trip I went on.

I've finally published my first complete short film called The Edge that I'm so excited to share with the community! Completing that film has made me want to really keep my momentum and get serious about filmmaking. I would love to connect with others who I have the same passion and drive to share ideas and critique, as well as seek work to gain tons of hands on experience! I'm looking forward to meeting you!
