Barbara A C Cunha

Barbara Cunha holds a post-graduation degree in Studies of Image and Contemporary Culture.She was Béla Tarr’s student (film direction). In 2007 she founded her own production company 99 Produções with the aim of producing audiovisual works that have technical and artistic quality for the national and international markets.

Currently she advocates for gender equality in the industry and is one of the administrators of the group Mulheres do Audiovisual Brasil (Women in Audiovisual Brazil).

Directed two short films, 3 tv series and one feature doc. Develops her first feature fiction and a new feature doc.
