Lawrence Kennon

Creative provocateur. Peace advocate.

Lawrence has been writing poetry, short stories and lyrics since the of age of ten. An advocate for
community empowerment and healing, he has dedicated most of his professional life to disrupting the
cycles of community violence. Realizing the transformative power of the arts and its intersection with
healing, he uses these experiences to inspire his screenplays. He finds immense joy within the creative
process, and especially in bringing projects to life. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Sociology from the
University of California - Berkeley and is an adamant sports fan.
