About Ronnie

Rainier Ronnie Garcera Bugay is a Bonn-based producer specializing in film, documentary, and corporate productions. He began his career in Portland, Oregon, working at the Guild Theater, Whitesell Auditorium, and Hollywood Theater. He earned a degree in digital design and film from the Pacific Northwest College of Arts and the NWFilm Center in Portland, later obtaining a diploma in directing, feature film production, and VFX from the SAE INSTITUT Cologne.

In the U.S., Ronnie started at Brand Name Productions LLC (BNP) in Portland, an established production company involved in major projects such as Superman, Blade, and The Hunted. As an assistant producer, he contributed to various productions, including The Bridal Show and Wind-Jammer Documentary for Discovery Channel US.

After moving to Germany, he collaborated with Bavaria Film Studios on the popular telenovela Sturm der Liebe and worked across multiple German production channels. His extensive experience spans fiction films, documentaries, and corporate productions, reflecting his versatility and expertise in the industry.

Ronnie also participated in the Cannes Film Festival, attending Cannes Next (Marché du Film), where he had the opportunity to pitch the series The Encounter with Largo.ai
