About Michael
In 1964 at the age of sixteen I was a junior in High School. I was living on my own due to family issues. I was given an English assignment of writing dialogue for a screenplay. I wrote about my life in a Rooming House and the different characters that also lived there. My English teacher thought I had some talent and arranged for me to get a "full boat" scholarship to a College that specialized in Writing. I turned him down. I did go on in life to be a teacher and school administrator. After watching the movie, The Bucket List, I like many people created their own bucket list. One of the items on the list was to write a Screenplay. At the age of 72, I am writing my first Screenplay about a young man and his trials and tribulations first at West Point and then during his two tours in Iraq as an officer in a tank platoon. This could be the most difficult task that I ever took on. But I am determined.
