Angie White

Angie White is a writer, content creator, filmmaker, and proud geek who has over 20 years experience in the trenches of the film world as well as 10 years in the trenches of Motherhood. Obviously one set of skills did not prepare her for the other... or did it? She has created content and connectivity online and in person steadily since 2009. Due to her proximity to Walt Disney World and having grown up in the shadow and sunshine of the Mouse, she strayed from her Indie Film roots for a bit and created mostly Disney content for herself and others. But the heart wants what it wants and she longed to reconnect to entertainment, so that is what she spotlights now. She has a “social good” loving voice and a need to ask uncomfortable questions, so those aspects flavor her coverage regularly. She has covered everything from movie screenings to red carpet premieres, comic conventions to NASA, books to Broadway... and loves it all (even if she does not always like it). Coming from a strong marketing background, having worked for major brands like Coca Cola, Pepsi, and Vitamin Water she also worked for the Florida Film Festival for 15 years and currently remote programs films with the Slamdance Film Festival. Angie also created, writes, and leads the popular #OrlandoBroadwaySeries chats on Twitter and recently launched/creates the weekly chat #MyMovieChat which regularly pulling in 7 digit numbers for impressions every week. Her husband and three kids are her biggest supporters who love the swag and their mom.
