About Shae-Marie

My name is Shae-Marie Martinez, I'm 18 years old and I have an immense passion for Special Effects Makeup and Film Making. I specialize in horror makeups/ films, though I do dabble in other genres as well. I'm the type of person that will always find a solution to a problem, be it an extreme deadline, a makeup malfunction, you name it, I will find a solution. I never leave a project until all loose ends are tied up. It's my passion, it's what I live for. I also act, I was placed in an advanced drama class after only participating in a drama 1/2 class. Same went for my film making; I was bumped from only taking one semester of video 1 to being involved in advanced filmmaking for the following 2 years of high school. As far as filmmaking goes, I've directed and written 3 short films, one of which took second place in a National Film Competition, I've made dozens of other shorts in my spare time. I'm very open to trying new things, especially new techniques. I love working with new people in new places, I'm easy to get a long with. I've done special effects makeup for all of my short films, including other films outside of my own. I love script writing. I write all of my own material; However, I do love getting input from others. A fresh eye never hurt anybody.
