Rashmi Rustagi

Born and raised in India, I am an actor, writer, and producer. A fluent Hindi, Urdu, and English speaker, I have worked in several features and short films with Hollywood and Bollywood actors. I have also worked in several television shows.
Raising a family in America while navigating both Indian and Western lifestyles, I noticed the lack of stories about women like me in American film and television. My desire to fill this void with real stories of real South Asian women led me to write and produce a short film called Unborn, streaming on Amazon Prime in the US. I have written a feature film, called Designed By Preeti, about a middle-aged South Asian woman who finally experiences true love. I am looking for a producer to help me bring this film to the screen.
I love to cook and write a popular food blog with recipes and videos.
