Hello! By trade I am currently a news photographer, living in Lexington, KY. I have high aspirations to one day write screenplays, whether that be for TV or for the silver screen. My love of writing started with short story assignments in elementary school and grew into where I am today. I love making short films, and have written, self-produced, and directed 17 short films for fun.
I have written 14 screenplays to date, with only 2 of the most recent ones being written for serious competition. The genres I enjoy writing are horror, sci-fi, and fantasy. I've dabbled in features and TV pilots and enjoy writing in both formats.
I love character-driven stories. My characters are the center to all my worlds, and oftentimes my worlds themselves are fleshed out well in advance, framing the story.
Arctic Lodge Thriller ⋄ Horror A family of four attempts a weekend getaway after their oldest son receives a terminal diagnosis, but a storm strands them in a remote lodge holding a dark secret.
Plague Sci-fi A mother brings her son, infected with a deadly plague, to a nearby village in search of a cure.
