About Jason
After finding high school physics exceedingly difficult, Jason Krawczyk decided to pursue his original passion for filmmaking. After university, he started "Alternate Ending Studios." A production company that has shot and produced numerous Music Videos, Commercials, and Shorts but left maintained the goal of producing feature films. Jason then made the leap and wrote and directed AES' first feature-length project, "The Briefcase." In 2015 Jason wrote and directed the Henry Rollins horror-comedy "He Never Died," which premiered at South By Southwest and is currently streaming on Netflix. The sequel, She Never Died, was released in 2020 on Amazon Prime with his new project "Sunset Superman," starring Michael Jai White, filming in 2022.
In-between productions, Jason Krawczyk has written and ghostwritten several screenplays, novels and novellas, with his first publication, "An Earth That Knows Magic," released in 2022 by Black Hare Press, with "It Looks Like Dad" and “Reality Squall,” scheduled for release in 2023 and 2024. His passion for writing has emboldened him to co-own, with his spouse Chris Krawczyk, the genre book store "Little Ghosts Books" in Toronto. An inclusive cafe and book store that offers readers horror books from sterling classics, LGBTQ authors, and burgeoning indie publishers.
Jason's primary goals are honing and nurturing his craft for writing and storytelling while collaborating and building relationships with the talented people he has met along the way.
