Maria Rose Doctor

Maria Doctor is a documentary filmmaker and content creator turned screenwriter with training in film, music, dance, acting, and poetry. She is a multicultural storyteller who writes highly visual, inspirational action dramedies inspired by the horrors and wonders of life in order to take her audience on a transformative spiritual journey. In the past, she also: directed a one-act musical; wrote, directed & produced short films; did a zillion internships; pitched to clients & earned a rep while at CAA; sang jazz at The House of Blues L.A., and volunteered at a women's prison. She grew up in the suburbs, lived many years in Los Angeles, has spent some time in the countryside, and now resides in a state of awe and wonder.
