Jasmine Allen

Jasmine Allen is a filmmaker from Chicago, Illinois. Her arts education began as a high school student at Chicago Academy for the Arts. There she studied various arts with an emphasis in theatre studies as an actor. Jasmine developed a strong interest in filmmaking as a high school student. She pursued filmmaking and received a Bachelor of Science degree in Television, Film, and New Media at San Diego State University. Jasmine has directed short films, and interned at State Street Pictures in Los Angeles. She is a passionate storyteller. She believes that the essence of good storytelling is rooted in sharing various truths about humanity. She strives to pursue this chief concern artistically as a writer, director, and actor.
