About Jodi

For over a decade emerging screenwriter Jodi J had simultaneously juggled two different careers - Television Actor & Critical Care Nurse. Although extremely unrelated occupations, both require a big smile, strength of character, persistence and resilience.
It was when she was cast in a Medical Drama Series that she caught a glimpse of an alternate path. This happenstance gifted her with an unforeseen light bulb moment. She realized this type of script flowed for her, she understood the jargon, the dialogue, the tone, she even recognized the subtle undertones. It was in that moment that her professional writing journey began.
As a recent Dean's List Graduate of George Brown's Screenwriting & Narrative Design Program, Jodi J is pouring all her passion for both careers into her authentic voice as a Screenwriter. She has discovered her true niche.
