Heather Edwards, who always had a passion for the arts, relocated to Los Angeles after a failed marriage, thinking her new surroundings were where all her dreams could come true. And eventually they did, after growing two kids, quitting a couple bad jobs, and many years of being on set behind-the-scenes.

In 2017, Heather was able to put her “education” in action and direct her first short film, Strayed, about dysfunctional families, messed-up priorities and cats - it received over 20 laurels while playing in numerous film festivals across the country and internationally.
Her sophomore film, Sky West & Crooked, premiered in 2020 at the Santa Barbara International Film Festival. It is based upon a true story that features original music recorded in 1972 by her father that was recently uncovered. The heartwarming 15 minute short features an incredible cast that includes Matt Jones (Breaking Bad), Martha MacIsaac (Super Bad, Battle of the Sexes), Emma Fuhrrman (Avengers: Endgame) and young rising star, Vivienne Rutherford.

In addition to Sky West & Crooked, she is producing a feature film with Gemini Team Go called Coast that stars Melissa Leo (Oscar Winner, The Fighter) and Cristela Alonzo (The Laundromat, Cars 3).
