A salesman and a police detective lust after a luscious stripper, risking their own souls for their own temptation. At the crossroads, one dies but one lives to learn that the stripper is the devil.

SYNOPSIS:

Ed is a salesman living on daily sales from day to day. Failure to make a sale and pay his rent, Ed visits his favorite bar. His bartender friend, Margie, brightens up his day with her words of encouragement. At a gentleman's club with his friend, Kris, Ed gets a boost of confidence after his interaction with Diana, the stripper. The next day, Ed makes a sale and pays his rent. At the local grocery store, Margie invites Ed to her house for dinner. Ed finally feels complete. Back at the gentleman's club, the encounter with Diana is not with Ed but Kris. Kris and Diana begin a relationship of sex, but Kris becomes depressed. Rather than go any further, Kris overdoses on heroin.

At Margie's home, Ed shows up but not to eat, to seduce her and kill her. He suffocates her with a pillow and leaves. On his way home, Ed rests and comes across Diana, who talks to him about the stars. She mocks him. Ed pushes over a bridge but can't live with what he has done. Ed jumps to his death. Still breathing, Diana wakes up laughing but is not who he thinks. He misses the clues that she is the devil, and she drags him to hell.
