Jasmine toured nationally for two years with media mogul, Tyler Perry in his hit play, “Woman, Thou Art Loosed” and has performed as the lead in many stage plays.. She holds a BFA in Dance Performance from Southern Methodist University (Dallas, TX). She also trained at Alvin Ailey, STEPS on Broadway, Martha Graham and was a national scholar of the American Dance Festival at Duke University.
Her dance productions have been featured on WFAA Ch. 8, TBN, BET, Woman Thou Art Loosed International Conference, The WORD Network, and Daystar.
She was the first African-American to win the coveted title of Miss Fort Worth in the Miss Texas/Miss America Pageant. For 10 years, she was the Resident Choreographer at the Potter’s House of Dallas, TX under the leadership of TD Jakes choreographing dance productions for special events.
